Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This policy lists the cookies and similar storage used on bespoken.fm and in the editor at app.bespoken.fm.

1. Strictly necessary

These are needed for the site to work and are always on.

Sign-in session (sb-*-auth-token, editor only): keeps you signed in to the editor. Set by Supabase, our sign-in provider.
Cookie choice (bespoken_consent): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, across bespoken.fm and the editor.
Language (NEXT_LOCALE, website only): remembers the language you picked.
Checkout: when you buy a plan or pack, Paddle's checkout may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Paddle's privacy policy.

2. Optional analytics

Only if you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use PostHog, hosted in the EU, for product analytics and session replay. PostHog then stores a cookie and local storage entry (ph_*_posthog) with a random id, so we can see how the product is used and replay sessions to find bugs. All text and form inputs are masked in replays. Until you accept, PostHog stores nothing in your browser and records no usage or replays. The site still asks PostHog which features to show, and like any web request that reveals your IP address to PostHog's EU servers.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

3. Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. It takes effect straight away.
